About the Author:

Anne-Sophie Baumann studied science and literature; working for several years as an editor before writing her own nonfiction books for children. Through her books, she tries to help children acquire knowledge on subjects as diverse as construction equipment to the fauna and flora of the countryside. She lives near Paris with her two children.

About the Illustrator:

Olivier Latyck is part of Brand New, a European artists’ collective, and the illustrator of over 40 children’s books. He also creates puzzles, toys, and mobiles and enjoys fishing near his home in La Rochelle, France.
