Covid-19 Update (1 April 2020):
Orders accepted and dispatched
The government has encouraged online retail to remain open on 23 March 2020. WordUnited will continue to operate with safety measures in place, as long as it is possible to safely do so. Orders are accepted and dispatched.
We continue to provide educational resources to help parents and teachers with home and remote learning during this critical time. We also provide 100s of free online resources on our Free Resources Hub.
UK delivery: Standard delivery time targets are still achieved but some slight delays may be experienced. Our delivery target is 2 to 5 working days.
1-2 day delivery option is temporarily not available.
Our couriers will deliver with safety measures. A signature is not required and your order may be dropped off in a recommended safe place or at a safe distance. Delivery may only be attempted once if there is no answer, with your order returned back to WordUnited.
Free collection from WordUnited’s address in Staffordshire is temporarily suspended to keep both our staff and customers safe.
Overseas delivery: shipment may be delayed for some countries or not possible. Please contact us for an update.

Shipping & Returns
Here at WordUnited we do our best to provide you customers with a range of shipping options to suit your busy lives. Our goal is to get your purchases to you as quickly as possible by the means most convenient to you. So that you know what the delivery cost will be before you place an order, all our delivery services are provided at a fixed rate, and where applicable WordUnited absorbs any VAT that would be payable on the delivery service.
All our UK Mainland delivery services are provided by Royal Mail, except for our Next Day Tracked and Saturday Services which are provided by Parcelforce.
- Free shipping for orders above £40 is available to all our customers in the UK. This delivery service is based on our Standard Delivery.
- Standard Delivery is our default shipping option and costs £2.95. Your order will typically arrive 3 to 5 working days from the day after your order is placed.
- Priority Dispatch service prioritises your order to ship on the same working day if the order is placed before 11:30 am and costs £4.75. Delivery will be 1 to 2 days after placing the order or 1 to 2 days from the next business day if the order is placed after 11:30 pm.
- Next Day Tracked is for customers who want to receive their order guaranteed the next day if the order is placed by 2pm and costs £6.95.
- Saturday Delivery If you are unable to accept orders during the working week, we offer a Saturday service that costs £13.95.
- FREE Collection
Local customers may wish to consider collecting free of charge from WordUnited during opening hours. Please select the “Collect from WordUnited” option during checkout.Due to Covid-19, free collection from WordUnited’s address in Staffordshire is temporarily suspended to keep both our staff and customers safe.

Highlands, Islands, and Northern Ireland
Our £6.95 Next Day Tracked service takes 2 days to reach the Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland, and orders to these destinations using the other delivery services may be at the end of the delivery window / may take slightly longer than the estimated timings indicated above.
WordUnited offers a 2 – 3 day delivery service for orders up to 30Kg using Parcelforce for only £9.95.
Returns (UK Only):
We hope you enjoy shopping on WordUnited.com and you are satisfied with your purchase. Rest assured, if you are not satisfied with a product, you can return it if you notify us within 30 days from receiving the order. In the unlikely event that the product(s) was defective, of unsatisfactory quality or mis-described, we will also refund second class postage to return the item. - The item is in the original condition and packaging with any security seals intact

US, Canada* & International Orders
WordUnited can ship to most locations in the US and Canada using a variety of couriers including FEDEX, UPS, DHL, DPD and Parcelforce. Costs are normally reasonable but they are sensitive to parcel size, so please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order details so we can offer you the most competitive shipping quote.
International delivery of most items is possible to most other countries upon enquiry. However, please note that we can only deliver product(s) to countries in which we have the right to sell them. We use Parcelforce International and can deliver up to 20 Kg to most locations. Cost is based on weight and size so please email us for a price and estimated delivery time.
Once we have sent an order confirmation to you, we will endeavour to deliver any product set out in it to the delivery address provided by you in line with the quoted shipping service charges and delivery times. We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising from delay in delivery.
You will be responsible for the payment of any import duties or taxes that are payable outside of the UK. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the product(s) are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.
