About the Author:

Anne-Sophie Baumann studied science and literature; working for several years as an editor before writing her own nonfiction books for children. Through her books, she tries to help children acquire knowledge on subjects as diverse as construction equipment to the fauna and flora of the countryside. She lives near Paris with her two children.

About the Illustrator:

Benjamin Bécue is an illustrator with a degree from EPSAA (école Professionnelle Supérieure d’Arts graphiques et d’Architecture de la Ville de Paris). He mainly works in advertising, and has illustrated a number of children’s books. He lives in Montreuil, France.
