About the Author:
Catherine Bruzzone loves her bike and all things cycling! She was a cycle commuter for many years and has now turned to cycle touring. She and her partner cycled from London to Venice in 2010 – very slowly – and have since cycled over the Pyrenees in two directions against the wind both ways and from Snowdonia to London – the toughest ride of all. She was a very early member of the London Cycling Campaign and is also a member of CTC and Sustrans. She tours on her standard road bike customised with an essential ‘granny gear’ so she can crawl up hills.
