Overview

What I do when someone calls me stupid…
First of all I know they’re wrong,
then I find that place inside where I am strong
I walk away with my head held tall
till I find someone that I can call
a friend
a friend

Poems about me, about you, about everyone in the class.
Poems about friendship, playing games, teachers, bullying, jealousy, quarrels and secrets…
Funny, thoughtful and entertaining, Cheryl Moskowitz is an exciting new talent, and in tune with what goes on inside and outside the classroom.

“An appealing and warm collection” – School Librarian

“A gem of a collection’  ‘A wealth of carefully observed and recollected vignettes of childhood experience: funny, poignant, angry and hopeful by turns, it is a lovely gift for a primary school child.” – Armadillo

“an exuberant assortment” – Books for Keeps

“A delightfully varied collection of poems which capture many of the familiar things that take place in classrooms, every day and everywhere” – LoveReading4Kids
