Barefoot Books – Adventures of Odysseus

As Odysseus fights to find his way back home after the long and brutal Trojan War, he has to endure harrowing ordeals and adventures, and come to terms with devastating losses. Storytellers Hugh Lupton and Daniel Morden’s graphic retelling breathes new life into this great classic.

Reviews:

“Their dramatic re-telling of the adventures of Odysseus flows with the rhythms of a stormy sea, and captured all the terror and tedium of a nightmare voyage. Christina Balit’s stunning artwork perfectly frames the tumultuous plot, as her creations emerge from the margins with the strength and shimmer of stained glass. A real treat. It is hard to pick a favourite from my top four books, but I have chosen this dazzling new edition of The Adventures of Odysseus wish combines a page-turning text with powerful pictures. Every school library should have one!” – Junior Education, Reviewer’s Choice
